Tour De Possum

Tour De Possum is located near the Town of Gate City in Scott County, VA. There are 10 mile, 25 mile and a 40 mile routes to choose from. There will also be the extreme “Possum Challenge” where you complete the 40 mile route in under two hours to win a coveted patch!

The Tour de Possum is a Road Cycling event for all cyclists in the picturesque Yuma area of South West Virginia. The 25 mile route is mainly flat with rolling hills. The 40 mile route has more hills and is more challenging. There will be one rest stop on the 40 mile ride route and possibly one on the 25 mile ride route. There is also the two hour Possum Challenge where riders who finish the 40 mile ride route in under 2 hours will receive a special Possum Challenge Patch. There will also be awards for the top three male and female finishers on the 40 mile ride.

There will be lunch and drinks provided to all pre-registered riders after the event. T-Shirts are only guaranteed to the first 100 that pre-register by May 18th.
