Tour de Fall Line VIII

Come out to Richmond and explore the length of the James River’s fall line. There are three different course lengths 50, 28, and 14. Both the 28 and 50 milers have some very technical sections. Be prepared to walk some sections if technical pieces scare you. The 14-mile course is beginner friendly but also contains a few log-overs and rock sections that you may want to walk.   There will be directional signs, chalk arrows, course marshals.  Also, Trailforks and GPX files can be downloaded from the registration page.  However, you are 100% responsible for finding your way on the course.  There are aid stations to help you, so if you find one, you can get directions to get back on course.  Remember, this is not a competitive event so don’t worry about going  off course or if you don’t ride it precisely.  If you get lost, backtrack or skip ahead and keep going! Be sure to download the Trailforks app to your phone to view the course map.

This is an urban mountain biking adventure – Have Fun!

Your registration includes:

•Food and drinks at all aid stations

•Post-ride party with a beverage and a meal.  Food until 4pm.

• Arrows marking the route to guide you on the trails

•Basic bike assistance at aid stations (free lube, tire pumping, etc.)

•And don’t forget, a large portion of your fee goes back to support the trails you are riding!
