The Punchy Pigg USA Cycling VA State Championship Race

Franklin County Parks and Recreation welcomes the USA Cycling State Championship Cross Country Mountain Bike Race to Waid Park. Age specific categories ranging from Juniors under 8 to 60+ will ride from 1 to 5 laps on the 3.7 mile course.

Anyone can race in this race, but to qualify for the USAC Virginia State Championship, you must be a Virginia resident and have an annual USAC race license.

• Rules:  Racers must be licensed by USA Cycling. One day licenses are available for $15 at registration. Pro/Cat 1 must hold an annual license. Approved helmets required when riding/racing on the bike.   The promoter has the right to combine classes if not enough racers.

• Camping: Primitive camping available onsite.
