Rutledge Rampage XC Race

Amherst Mountain Biking Club is pleased to announce the 2021 Rutledge Rampage XC mountain bike race! This first-ever event will take place September 11, 2021, at 9 AM, located at the Rutledge Creek Trail System (TrailForks) in Amherst, VA. The race format will be lap style with the fastest times taking the crown. Each lap is just over 2 miles.  There are five skill levels so that riders can choose which one best suits their abilities.

Men’s Open: 6 laps

Women’s Open: 5 laps

Men’s Beginner: 3 laps

Women’s Beginner: 2 laps

Kid’s Race: on the skills track!

Friday Pre-Race – The course will be marked out and available to ride for those who would like to familiarize themselves with the track.

Packet Pickup – Packet pickup will be available at Camp Trapezium Friday evening between 6 and 9:00 pm on Friday, September 10th.  Packet Pickup will also be available the morning of the race.

Free Camping available at Camp Trapezium located in the Town of Amherst.
