Major Taylor Birthday Celebration Ride

Major Taylor Cycling Club of Virginia will hoar 15 mile ride starting at Conte’s Bike Shop in Henrico, VA celebrating
the birth of Marshall “Major” Taylor on November 26, 1878.
Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver and supply Contact Tracing information protecting your fellow
MTCCVA Members and Friends as well as our sponsor Conte’s amid a Covid notification with the group.Absolutely do not
show up for the ride or if:

1. You think you have been exposed to COVID-19
2. You have traveled to an area of high infection (class 2 or 3) in the last 14 days https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/index.html)
3. You exhibit any of the following symptoms (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/symptoms.html)
   • Fever
   • Cough
   • Shortness of breath
   • Aches
   • Fever
4. Keep a healthy distance from other riders5) Be hyper vigilant about blowing your nose and keeping bodily fluids
   to yourself while on the ride6) Don’t share bottles or food

Ride Info: This will be a group ride (parade) that will start at 11:30 for 15 miles with Ride Leaders and Conte’s
sponsored SAG rolling into a 1:30 to 3:00 Social. Please arrive early to receive directions on the ride and follow the
directions of your ride leaders. Temperatures may be low, so layer up to prepare for the temperature.
