Hampton Criterium (VA Age-Graded State Criterium Championship) – VCA BAR Event

Come out to the City of Hampton for race day fun!

Course: The loop at Langley Research and Development Park is .75 miles long and features two wide 90 degree turns. The course was repaved this year so it is buttery smooth and very fast.  Hampton Criterium Course Map Updated 5-30-21

Registration: Register online at www.bikereg.com . Online registration closes at 5PM (noon) on Friday, April 29th. Day-of registration opens at 7:30 AM and is available for a $10 late charge (excludes Juniors and Cat 5 Men and Women(Novice)). A second race is just $20. Entry fees include $5.99 USAC fee and $1.25 VCA BAR fee. 2023 VCA Series Winners must pre-register and email the promoter their category to receive $6.55 entry. If you are a promoter of a race in the VCA series you are eligible for $7.25 entry and must pre-register and email the promoter with your category.

All annual and one day USA Cycling license holders are eligible to race the State Championship, however to be eligible to win the State Championship riders must have a current annual USA Cycling license and they must reside in Virginia and have it listed as their state of residence on their USA Cycling license.

License: Beginner One-day and Annual licenses will be available for purchase on race day. Experienced riders must renew their annual license or purchase a one-day license online.  Race Licenses from other countries will not be accepted. Please ensure that you have a USA Cycling License.
