This is a race and chip timed event. This is a dirt road/gravel race with a bit of double track. Cyclocross or mountain bikes work well on the course.  Preview Pocahontas State Park on TRAILFORKS and MTB Project sites.  Pocahontas is located in Chesterfield County which is part of the Richmond metropolitan region.
