Between the Waters Ride

Embraced by the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean you will find bi-coastal biking bliss on the pastoral peninsula of Virginia’s Eastern Shore.  There are 4 routes to choose from (25, 40, 60 and 100 miles) designed for the casual to serious cyclists.  Each route winds through interesting historic towns and communities and along back roads to scenic rest stops that overlook the Atlantic seaside and the Chesapeake Bay.  Pedal past golden fields through historic hamlets and quaint seaside vistas. Immerse yourself in the longest expanse of coastal wilderness remaining on the east coast.  Your participation helps protect this rare coastal gem.

The start/finish locations rotate annually up and down the rural peninsula.  You’ll visit towns like Exmore, Wachapreague, Nassawadox, Onancock and Cape Charles.  Registration includes staffed rest stops with snacks and a full picnic lunch in scenic locales.  Find out why so many cyclists rave and return year after year!

This event sells out very fast – Caps at 1,200 riders.
