Appalachian Mountaineer

Appalachian Mountaineer has been created by the founders of the original Appalachian Journey. 2022 takes all of the best parts, professional timing, start categories and times, and swaps slower chunky course segments for some grade A mountain valley and ridgeline rolling. Featuring narrow forest roads, old rail beds, and of course the now famous ridgeline exposure of Bald Knob.

The weekend host is the Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing and they will be nourishing  your bellies and spirits. Be sure to look up the lodging options and book fast, because while there is ample room for camping the lodge and cabins will go quick.

This year racers can choose from 85, 65, 40 and 22 mile courses. Categories are limited to Open men, women, masters (40+) and Singlespeed. Each distance will have multiple aid stations to keep you refreshed and rolling.
