2026 Virginia MTB Marathon (XCM) State Championship & XCO Races

VA Racing Events is hosting the 2026 Virginia State XCM Championship & XCO Races and it’s coming to Pleasant Grove Park. The XCM Championship race often referred to as cross-country marathon (XCM), is a very demanding form of mountain bike racing. For this race, riders will have four hours to complete as many laps as they can over a 12.1-mile closed course with 995’ of elevation. No Walk-Up Registration

Pleasant Grove Park has been chosen as the venue for this grueling event. Pleasant Grove Park is located between Charlottesville and Richmond in Fluvanna County, Virginia. The park boasts 22 miles of trails (Trailforks)and is nestled beside the Rivanna River.

RVA Racing Events will serve as the event host, working closely with officials from USA Cycling, Fluvanna Parks and Recreation, Pleasant Grove Park staff, Fluvanna Heritage Trail Foundation, Fluvanna County Government, and the City of Palmyra.
