Cranksgiving – Family Ride

Cranksgiving is a two-wheeled food drive. Part bike ride, part madcap scavenger hunt. Join Roanoke’s biggest group ride from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm and support LEAP For Local Food, Roanoke Refugee Partnership, and Casa Latina. All you need is a bicycle, a lock, and a bag!

This is a FREE event, but you’ll need $20 to $25 to purchase food. Pedal the streets and trails of Roanoke as you search for specific ingredients that make up a Thanksgiving dinner. Once you’ve collected all items and arrived at the finish, this feast will be donated to our town’s most needy.

Cranksgiving is a national event that occurs in over 100 cities across the United States and Canada.
