Women of James River Park: Roots & Rocks Ride
Ladies come out to the James River Park System (JRPS) trails to celebrate skill, courage, and community. Whether you’re chasing technical lines or still building trail confidence, this day is about riding together and honoring the deep roots and solid rock that connect the Women of JRPS.
Women who want to improve their confidence and skills on technical terrain. Required: A modern mountain bike in good working order with functional suspension and disc brakes; helmet; hydration. Highly recommended: bike bell, basic first aid kit.
This day is about women showing up for themselves and each other. Ride fresh challenges, walk what you need to, and stay for the food and friendship. Let’s celebrate Saturday, May 2 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm International Women’s MTB Day the JRPS way!
Registration: $6 per person, with the option to add a (co-ed ok) plus one for lunch.
