14th Annual Virginia Trail Festival

The Virginia Trail Festival also known as “The Virginia Mountain Bike Festival” is presented by Shenandoah Mountain Touring and is an event celebrating mountain bicycling in the National Forest. It is a long and exciting weekend of bicycling, hanging out with friends in a very scenic quiet location nestled in the mountains adjacent to some amazing trails at the Stokesville Campground.  You can chose to stay of a day or the whole weekend!

Once you arrive at the Campground grab one of the amazing camp spots (just not one of our special RV spots and make your way over to the pavilion to get checked in and confirm your volunteer position. It is tons of fun helping with dinner/breakfast prepping, cooking and serving and this really facilitates everyone getting to know each other.  You will also be able to check out all the rides that will be leaving throughout the weekend. We will also have some other trail maps of the area for you to take as you may wish to create your own adventure.

Come ride great trails and see all the improvements that the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition has made in the region on the National Forest Trails in the last year.

Not really into Mountain Biking? There is great hiking right from the campground on the Wild Oak Trail or bring your road bike and enjoy the wonderful roads the Shenandoah Valley has to offer.
