Tour de Floyd

The Tour de Floyd, isa community bike ride held for many years here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Floyd, Virginia. If you haven’t ridden your bike in Floyd, you are in for a treat! There is plenty of climbing, plenty of amazing views, some easy miles and some very challenging stretches. This year’s ride will be starting at the Floyd Eco Village just outside the town.  You can choose from four ride options ( The Metric Road Classic 62.8 – The Dirty Floyd Gravel 59, The Backroad Gravel 45, – The Morning Fun Gravel 18 – or the Kid’s Ride 3 mile Gravel).

Tour de Floyd is partnering with Red Rooster Coffee and Blue Mountain School to offer 4 aid stations, including a Breakfast station at the start (featuring Red Rooster), the old classic “Cookie Station”, and two other stations to be sure you get to the end with plenty of gas left in the tank.

All proceeds from the ride will go to Blue Mountain School, a 44 year old contemplative progressive school in Floyd VA.
