Tour de Chesapeake

REGISTRATION BEGINS FEBRUARY 2024

Come out to Mathews, VA, on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay for the Tour de Chesapeake cycling event.  These are rural, flat roads and there are 3 concise routes, each around 25 miles each.  You can ride any route as many times as you like to add up the miles! The routes take cyclists from Gwynn’s Island to Bethel Beach to the New Point Lighthouse and all routes lead to the water.

Each route has fully stocked rest stops, SAG support and lovely views galore!  For those finishing early, visit the wonderful Farmer’s Market. There is delicious food, great music and folks to help you with whatever you need to make your stay unique and fun! The ride culminates on Saturday evening with a Seafood Feast and Party at the Wharf at the Riverfront Pavilion at historic Williams Wharf Landing.  There will be with music, dancing, cash bar, seafood and more at The Riverfront Pavilion at Williams Wharf on the East River!
