27th Annual Surry Century

Come out to Surry County, VA and find out why the Surry Century is a “must ride” event in Hampton Roads!  Experience the heart of Southeastern Virginia by bike and see rural towns, farmland, historic plantations, and very few cars – roads are flat and slightly rolling.  The event begins with music and merriment, then you ride out into the county to start your adventure.  You have the option to ride 25, 50, 75 or 100 miles and it’s unique because there are three loops of 25, 25 and 50 miles, so you decide how far you want to ride.  There are well stocked rest stops spaced appropriately to keep you are properly nourished and well hydrated.  There is also SAG support to help you if needed.

Upon your return, you will be treated to a catered lunch by Zoe’s Kitchen and music so plan to stay awhile and visit with your friends. On the way home consider visiting Surry’s local attractions Chippokes Plantation State Park, historic Bacon’s Castle, or the Hampton Roads Winery in Elberon VA.
