RVA Underground Fall XC Race #2 & RVA Classic Bike TT

Welcome the the RVA Underground race series. If you want to play bikes and go fast in the woods, this is your jam!  This is the second race in our 3 race short XC series and for this one we are bringing some vintage bikes into the mix! Get ready to rumble on some good old school XC trails. Leakes Mill will get your heart pumping with some tight and twisty singletrack with a few punchy climbs and some roots and rocks thrown in for good measure.

The RVA Classic: We are going full old school by bringing the RVA Classic to this event. Dust off that 1980’s and 90’s era MTB to show off. Or throw a leg over that steed and take on the one-lap time trail if you’re feeling frisky. Of course, along with bragging rights there will be prizes for best in class/show!

Where: Leakes Mill Park – 3951 River Rd W, Goochland, VA 23063

Entry Fee: $35.00 / $25.00 Juniors until 6PM Saturday 9/25, or $50 day of race

Race Format: XC laps, each lap is ~9.5 miles, start in waves by category:

• Experts: 3 laps
• Sport/Clydes/Masters/Juniors: 2 laps
• Beginners: 1 lap

XC Race Prizes:

• Expert and Sport: Cold Hard Cash* starting with 1st place men/women winners.
• Masters, Cydesdales, Beginners, & Juniors: Prizes and swag
• Beginner Series Winner: A two-hour one-on-one coaching session ($200.00) to the fastest beginner with John Petrylak (must be over 18).

*Cash Payout is based on entry. The more people who race, the more you can win, and the deeper we can go into each category.
