Post-Jeff Cup Parkway Climbing Clinic/Fun Ride

The Post Jeff Cup Parkway Climbing Clinic – Start your ride on the Scenic Blue Ridge Parkway to the Top of Wintergreen and back! Experienced coach, Beth Leasure-Hudson, will teach a short clinic on Climbing Techniques for Sustained Climbs/Descent Skills necessary for success in regional hilly racing this season. The ride is 52 miles with 7,324 feet of climbing. View the route on Strava here. Clinic starts at 9 am with 30 minutes discussion about descending and climbing technique. Ride rolls at 9:45 am and last 4-5 hours depending on ability. Juniors must be accompanied by an adult.

After the clinic, you will play, drill, and divide into groups by ability so that everyone has an enjoyable experience. This is a racer-specific clinic – all are welcome and women especially encouraged to attend. You will not only ascend a lot of elevation the day after Jeff Cup, you’ll also conquer uphill and downhill concerns.
