Deja Vu 6 & 12 Hour MTB Relay

Deja Vu is a team relay and solo rider mountain bike event  on the Western Slope of Massanutten (GPX),  just outside of Harrisonburg, VA and the Massanutten Resort.

Deja Vu is a team relay and solo rider mountain bike event with 6 and 12 hour options are available for participants 15 y/o and older, and a 3 hr. junior category option for those under 15 y/o. While this is a race, it’s also a fun day on the mountain with your fellow mountain bikers! There is a family team option for all you mountain biking families! DAY-OF REGISTRATION IS NOT AVAILABLE!

The course is roughly 5 miles in length, and consists of smooth, fast flow trail, short sections of small-to-medium rocks, fast descents, three short, steep climbs, mellow, rolling singletrack, berms, one section of gravel road, a few creek crossings and more. All-in-all it is one of the fastest, smoothest, least technical race courses ever conceived on the Western Slope!

The races will utilize a social distanced Lemans style start. The Lemans start ensures a safe and exciting method for starting a large number of riders. It consists of having all the riders line up at the starting line (6 feet apart), at which time a pistol is fired. The racers will then run to their bikes, mount up, and enter the race course. All starting riders must have their bikes pre-positioned and be logged-in prior to the start of the race. All riders on deck (those riders who are waiting for their teammate to complete a lap) must be logged into the manual timing sheet no later than 15 minutes prior to their teammate’s completion of the lap.

IMPORTANT: THIS EVENT IS HELD ON THE WESTERN SLOPE OF MASSANUTTEN, NOT IN MASSANUTTEN RESORT.
