Daring Daisy (Virginia Commonwealth Games Mountain Bike Race)

The Daring Daisy will serve as the Virginia Commonwealth Games Mountain Bike Championship for 2022. The race will traverse the scenic trails on the campus of Sweet Briar College, located outside the town of Amherst, VA. The 7.3- mile loop course will consist of 75% single-track and 25% double-track ranging, from twisty techy to wide open and fast, while gaining 604′ of elevation per loop. Riders will choose between four categories (Beginner, Sport, Expert, Single-speed) with Expert and Single-speed winners eligible for cash prizes. All riders who complete the course will receive a Commonwealth Games Medal.
