Bedford Cycle & Give: Christmas Station Shakedown
Bedford Cycle & Give is a three-race mountain bike series that brings together fitness, fun, and giving back to the Bedford County community. The race is open to junior boys and girls and there are women and men categories. The event benefits the Bedford Community Christmas Station in Bedford, VA.
Race Format: Handicap-style, 1-hour race. Riders compete to complete the most laps in 60 minutes. Riders who finish a lap before the hour cut-off may start an extra lap, and in the event of a tie, the rider who finishes their last lap first is declared the winner—taking home a big heaping of Christmas joy!
Entry Requirement: Instead of a traditional fee, participants are asked to bring one or two items from the Christmas Station donation list to support families in need:

- Pantry: Peanut butter, jelly, pancake mix & syrup, canned sloppy joe, canned chicken, canned fruit, stuffing mix, muffin mix, canned/boxed potatoes, Spaghetti O’s/ravioli, mac & cheese, pudding cups, cereal, Ritz crackers, saltine crackers, soup, spaghetti sauce, beef stew
- Household: Tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, liquid hand soap, body wash
- Baby Items: Baby wipes, diapers (sizes 4–6), pull-ups (sizes 2T–5T)
