2025 Mountain CAT 100
Come out to Richmond, VA – Money raised by entry fees goes back to our parks, not into our pockets. This event is big ridiculous day for Richmond trails and trailbuilders. This year funds are being raised to help revamp the Belle Isle Skills Park. This year the support is for giving the whole skills park a big face lift and including a paved pump track/jump line. This serves everybody, from lil scooter dudes to strider babies, and even the big air big dawgs.
The skills facility is in addition to the 18 miles of urban single track trails nestled into the James River Park, Forest Hill Park and Byrd Park located in the city of Richmond. Like the trails, this skills area will is built in collaboration with the following volunteer groups: The Friends of James River Park, JROC (James River Outdoor Coalition) the City of Richmond Trails Division, the James River Park System, Richmond MORE and IMBA (International Mountain Bike Association).
This is a self supported ride, so pack what you need, and a little extra in case. Prepare a smart backup plan in case you get an unfixable mechanical, pack a thought-out repair kit, put down a REAL emergency contact please, and expect to stop at convenient stores or something similar for refuels. There are aid stations on course, however, they are volunteer run and stocked with goodies out of the kindness of their hearts.
This year you will only get half of the route in advance. The other half will be available by link or QR code at the drop bag aid station, at Larus Park.
